Hello.

I design things.  I have been creating since I could hold a pencil and though I still enjoy drawing and painting, my professional work has centered more on UX/UI, visual design, and web design. I have a passion for designing innovative, efficient, pleasurable experiences.  My greatest skill is taking the knowledge of human behavior I have gained from over a decade of sales and customer service experience and incorporating that into my UX and product design processes.

I earned a professional certificate in UX Design from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2019, and through that graduate level course work, I was able to strengthen my existing design skills.  I also found a passion for research, gathering and analyzing data, which produces a strong foundation for great design.

My UX education builds upon my BFA in Computer Art & Animation from the Savannah College of Art & Design, giving me a broader skill-set allowing me to wear multiple hats.  Like wearing a fedora and a pork pie or a derby and Stetson all at the same time!  Okay, enough with the hat metaphors. To put it another way, I enjoy being proficient in a variety of roles and thrive on new and unexpected challenges that may crop up.  I have worked freelance for over 15 years in the Graphic/Web design industry, and I had over 3 years freelance experience in UX/UI design before joining the team at Pinnacle Solutions Inc., located in Huntsville, Alabama.  My current position has given me the opportunity to create my own path, being Pinnacle's first, "One-Man Shop" UI/UX designer.  The experience has been challenging but fulfilling.  My resume is available for download here.  A downloadable version of my portfolio is available here.

I also enjoy writing and recording music when I'm not busy designing my latest project.  I would to hear how I could help with your next project.
